This was an attempt to disrespect her, so she ordered her servant to get on the ground and then sat on their back during the negotiations.

2022.01.22 20:12 jmorgannz SIFO: Nystatin vs Fluconazole (vs herbals?)
I know this is SIFO and not SIBO - but given that the two quite often occur together; I am posting in here. Please can you let me know if there is a particular SIFO sub I should crosspost in?
Anyway; my situation is this: I have been tested for, diagnosed with, and successfully treated for SIBO. Distal. Both methane and hydrogen. I did herbal antimicrobials for six weeks, week on week off; and since then have had clear spot gas results;
Since then it appears what has happened is the void left by antimicrobials has allowed fungals to really take hold.
So; my practitioner and I want to treat for SIFO // candida. However I am very mindful that my good bacteria is weak enough as it is, so I really want to use targeted antifungals, not antimicrobials which will also kill my bacteria back. If anything I need to SUPPORT bacteria whilst whacking the fungals back.
So, what I have read from a lot of the big name SIFO talking heads, is that fluconazole is the gold star treatment. Apparently 100mg/day for 14 days.
I know it takes a lot longer than that and a full lifestyle plan to keep SIFO at bay; but this is just to knock it back and give the microbiome a chance to rebalance
As far as I can tell, this is an off-label use of fluconazole; and some don't like it because it is systemic and it gets into the blood and your entire body; I tried to get it from my GP, and the quack told me that it was a serious dangerous medication and it could kill me, and wouldn't prescribe it (he doesn't believe in SIBO/SIFO)
Also fluconazole is fully funded in my country; and I actually don't mind the idea of it getting right into my body - as I also have gallbladder issues and wonder if there is any infection in there; and also topical yeast infections.
I have talked to another integrative GP and booked a consult. They said after our consult if they agree to treat for SIFO; they would use nystatin not fluconazole;
I'm not sure why this is; perhaps because fluconazole can create tolerance in the fungals, or perhaps because she is being mindful of keeping treatment to the digestive tract.
My problem is that I am very sensitive to meds (mostly the additives), and nystatin has additives in it and requires much more dosing than fluconazole; I also hear that nystatin gets broken down by stomach acid and so is not as good at getting to the distal small intestine.
Lastly; I'd be OK to try herbal antifungals; but most herbs I know of will also kill my good bacteria back. Examples being coconut/capryllic acid, oregano oil, berberine. Are there any more narrow band herbals that work for this?
Thanks for all your help.
I'm a bit stuck at this step; but am very excited because finally I may be so close to real relief!

2022.01.22 20:12 _MPDG Airbnb owner is asking me to cancel for reasons not on the listing. Any tips?
I booked an Airbnb for my birthday weekend for 6 people total, which is the max allowed for the rental. The owner contacted me to confirm the number and is now saying they only allow 5. Also, she’s saying they don’t allow parties or gatherings, but I’ve assured her we will not be doing either of those, as we’re just looking to explore the city. She is still asking me to cancel. I’ve heard that it’s better to get the owner to cancel from this sub since they’re the ones asking me to do so, and that it might be worth reporting. Any tips on how to handle a situation like this?

2022.01.22 20:12 atmospheresky292993 Does the aluminum in potassium aluminum sulfate(alum) work the same as aluminum in any other aluminum salt?
Free aluminum is known to be somewhat toxic even at small doses, and can easily be absorbed into the skin along with the aluminum in some other aluminum salts, according to studies. Yet potassium aluminum sulfate is considered safe in low amounts, even as a food additive. So my question is, does the aluminum in potassium aluminum sulfate work exactly the same as aluminum by itself or in any other aluminum salt? Ie being in this compound doesn't make the aluminum part of it any safer or less reactive or work any differently? Or is it safer because of a larger molecule size that doesn't let it be absorbed into the body or something like that? If so, why is the aluminum in other aluminum salts absorbable by the skin but not this one?

2022.01.22 20:12 greatEmily Coach Greg is...
Out of his mind!
I'm doing his 10k training plan and next Saturday I have a long run that is 50 minutes.... That's just about 5 miles for me. Considering I only run about 1-5 miles a week, jumping to 5 miles on Saturday seems like a lot.
I have ran a 10k a couple of times before but I don't normally train with Garmin Coaches.

2022.01.22 20:11 King_Tommm Business/IT Consultant by profession - Is there a market for small business consultancy?
As the title suggests, I’m a consultant for one of the UK’s big 4 consulting firms and I’m looking for a way to both develop my consultancy skills but also earn some additional income.
I wanted to try and offer some of my knowledge and skills to smaller businesses, giving some consultancy on their current business process, where they could save time and money and increase the available people hours available to them.
My question is how would I go about charging a high enough price to make it worth my while while also being conscious of the fact that smaller businesses may not have the money to be able to afford traditional consultancy fees?
I’d also like to try and build up a monthly income through this so I’m thinking a payment plan over X amount of months rather than a hourly fee?
I’d be keen to hear some peoples thoughts.
